Diabetic patients are rising day by day in all over the world. In India, more than 570 million people are suffering with this disease and more than 30 million will be in the next few years, According to studies, a person die with diabetes in every 2 minutes. Diabetes work as a slow poison.

Causes of Diabetes
Lifestyle and eating habits of food, like more consumption of sweet and heavy food, more consumption of sugar in tea, milk, cold drinks, lack of exercise, obesity, stress, smoking, tobacco, Inheritance are the major causes of diabetes.

Symptoms of Diabetes
  1. Frequent urination
  2. Excessive thirst
  3. Excessive appetite
  4. Fatigue even without working, 
  5. Not quick recovery of wounds anywhere in the body, and skin repeatedly infections. These are all signs of diabetes.
Symptoms of High Blood Sugar
  • Wrinkles on the skin - When the sugar levels rise in the body, acne starts appearing on the face. At the same time, when the sugar level is high, wrinkles appear on the face before time.
  • Lack of energy - If you feel exhausted when you work or walk a lesser distance then understand that the level of sugar in your body is high. When sugar levels rise in blood, the pancreas has to release more insulin to convert cells into glucose.

Not only berries, the seeds of Jamun (blackberry) seeds are equally beneficial. Jamun seeds are used in various alternative therapies.

Ayurvedic medicine for Diabetes
Jamun is a very small fruit, but it has many benefits which make you physically and mentally strong. And after eating jamun, you would throw his kernels but it is very important to know one thing that every fruit of the seed produces its tree, hence its seeds have more benefits than fruits, so after eating jamun its seeds should not thrown.

Keep its seeds dry in the sun well and when the seeds dry, then make powder of these dried seeds and follow some steps to make this powder, which is as follows. After eating jamun, wash the seeds thoroughly.

Place the powder in a container and eat one teaspoon of empty stomach in the morning. Make such powders from the wet seeds of Jamun, you can make powder even after washing the seeds. What you can eat in diabetes ?
Flaxseeds are rich in fiber and omega-3 fatty acids. Adding 
1 to 2 tablespoons of ground flaxseeds to your diet can reduce your blood sugar levels.

The type of fiber in flaxseeds are mainly soluble and have 
the property of reducing your blood sugar levels as well as your blood cholesterol levels.

Cheese is a good source of protein and calcium. It makes a great snack that won’t raise your blood sugar levels and is a good way to add extra protein to your breakfast.

Olive oil is a rich source of monounsaturated fats, which is heart friendly, it constitute the cornerstone of the Mediterranean diet. Olive oil does not contain carbohydrates and it does not directly influence your blood sugar levels. Regular use of  olive oil for cooking your vegetables is best choice.

Meat, poultry and fish. 
Lean meat and poultry are also low in fat, while fish, eaten two to three times a week, can provide you omega-3 fatty acids which is beenficial for our health and reduce the risk of cardiovascular diseases.

These protein sources are free of carbohydrates if you avoid the ones that are breaded or served in a sweet sauce.

Nuts and Nut Butter
Amounts of Carbohydrates is very low in nuts, therefore they do not increase your blood sugar levels. Cashews are the starchiest of all nuts and are not the best options with about 9 grams of carbohydrates per ounce. 

Nonstarchy vegetables 
Nonstarchy vegetables give very small amounts of carbohydrates to our body. Add nonstarchy vegetables in your diet, they can help you better manage your blood sugar levels. Eat vegetables like, turnips, broccoli, bok choy, cauliflower, sprouts, leafy green, onions, tomatoes which boost your fiber and antioxidant intake without compromising your blood sugars. 

Improve food habits- Minimize or reduce sugar and other sweet foods, Eat more green vegetables, except sweet fruits and eat other fruits, instead of eating more food at a time, take a small intervals.

Avoid foods made from ghee, oil and fried things, such as samosas, kachodi, podi, parathas etc.

Minimize the intake of wheat, barley and gram, that is, in the case of Missi Roti Sugar. It is very beneficial.

Being physically active
  • Do regular exercise and yoga (pranayama)
  • Walk in the morning and evening time is very beneficial to maintain sugar levels.
  • Control on obesity, which is an important cause of diabetes.

Avoid Stress ( Anxiety)
The role of stress in diabetes is very important, do your best to avoid stress. you can reduce your stress or tension by yoga, pranayama, meditation and morning walk also helps to control stress.

Dana fenugreek is very useful in diabetes, for this, one or two spoons of Dana fenugreek are soaked in a glass of water in the night, drink early morning. 

Bitter gourd is also very important for diabetes. For this, take bitter gourd juice or amla mixed in juice. you can take 100-125 ml of the hungry stomach in the evening and you can take bitter gourd as a powder.

Drugs
When amount of sugar in the blood is not increased, then the above remedies are available, but if the sugar level is high in the blood, then the physician suggest injection and pills. You can take some herbs like Basant Kusumakar juice, Shilajatti Vati, Chandra Prabhav Vati, Pure Shilajit and many other medicines are available in Ayurveda. You can use these medicines which are also beneficial in diabetes. but doctor's opinion is must.
