Gajar Halwa Recipe is a delicious dessert. People eat this in winter season mostly. We can eat this dish on special occasions like Wedding, Birthday Party And kitty parties. Today, we help you, how to prepare this dish at home with in short time.

Ingredients: fresh Carrots, 1 cup milk, Khoya(Mawa), sugar, ghee(clarified butter), nuts and raisins.

Delicious dessert


  1. Wash and peel the carrots. Grate them using a grater. 
  2. Take a pan and melt 3-4 tablespoons ghee to roast grated carrots.
  3. Roast the carrots for 15 minutes or until they get tender enough.
  4. Now add milk to carrots and cook for sometime. Once milk gets soaked into carrots, add Khoya and mix nicely.
  5. Add sugar, nuts and raisins.
  6. You can Serve gajar halwa hot or cool it down and serve as cold dessert. 

Note: You can prepare instant Khoya by using butter, 3-4 tablespoonfuls milk, and milk powder. Warm the milk and mix butter into it. Add milk powder into it and mix properly. It starts get hard and form clumps.
