A building of great architecture that has been under construction for 144 years. This is the Sagrada Familia. It is famous for its unique 18 towers and its structure.
Here is what I saw in Barcelona when I went there recently. I saw some construction going on outside the Sagrada Familia.Tourists come to admire the outdoor architectural design and take photos and videos. Before entering, everyone has to go through a security check. Then, you just have to go to the main entrance of this architecture. There you will see a beautiful green door with a nature inspired design. Then, every little detail gives it a different and beautiful architectural look. This is the tallest religious building in Europe.
It was designed by the famous architect Antoni Gaudi, who spent 40 years of his life here. He came to the Sagrada Familia and was suddenly hit by a tram and died here. Three days later, he died. This building was built as a school and later converted into a religious building. The whole building has images of nature, with the pillars depicting trees and flowers and leaves as designs. You can enjoy the view of the whole city by walking between the towers of the building.
Tourists can see the church with some of the old things that are currently there. To know more about the history, tourists can listen to the audio guide. You can listen to it on the Sagrada Familia app. All in all, this is a truly impressive building.
