Our health need all vitamins and nutrition. Therefore, deficiency of any vitamin and mineral can make you unhealthy and problems can happen in your body. Among all these, we are discussing about Vitamin D, which is  very essential for our bones and other body parts. 

In previous time, people spended time in field regarding their work and travel in sunlight. They ate healthy food and easily  got all vitamins specially Vitamin D. Because exposure of Sunlight is the easiest way to get vitamin D. But, Today, human lifestyle have became  very comfortable with the help of computer, AC, Cars and with other technical devices. Therefore, they are becoming victim of vitamin deficiency and Knee problems. why milk and honey best diet for our health ?

What is Vitamin D ?
Vitamin D is one of the most important vitamin found in the body. Vitamin D is a group of fat-soluble pro-hormones which helps the body to absorb calcium, iron, magnesium, phosphate and zinc. Vitamin D, is also called Sunshine Vitamin, is produced by the body when our skin comes in contact of sunlight. 
Vitamin D deficiency

There are mainly two types of Vitamin D.
Vitamin D2 (ergocalciferol) - It found in food, plants and use as a dietary supplement.

Vitamin D3 (cholecalciferol) - when our body comes in the contact of sunlight, then Vitamin D3 formed. Some animal sources are also contain Vitamin D3.

Symptoms of Vitamin D deficiency are below :
  • Pain start in bones and muscles become weak.
  • Feel fatigue 
  • Respiratory Problems occur
  • If you take more sleep than necessary in the day.
  • Blurred Vision ( specially in Children)
  • Feel depression, some studies have found that people who had Vitamin D deficiency were more Depressed than healthy people.
  • You feel more sweating on head than body.
  • Formed health related problems and indicates infection.
  • Sickness. Vitamin D is very essential for our immune system, person sick again and again.

During deficiency of Vitamin D, what happen ?
Vitamin D provide strengthen to bones and muscles, because it helps the body to use calcium present in the food.
Lack of vitamin D in body a disease formed in children called Rickets. In this disease tissue of bones are not properly mineralized, which provide softness and shape to our feet and body. The feet of the children do not straight and turn into arc or bow shape.

Pain can occur in any part of the body, because bones affect by Vitamin D deficiency.Vitamin D plays very crucial role in avoiding too many health problems.

Causes of Vitamin D Deficiency
If you spend less time in Sun and prevents yourself from sun. Moreover, if you do not drink milk and at the same time you are pure vegetarian, then vitamin D deficiency can affects you. Because vitamin D is found naturally in most non-veg things. For example: In fish, in beef liver, and in egg yolks.
  1. Obesity can also be the cause of vitamin D deficiency. Due to obesity, fat cells can extract vitamin D from the blood, which reduces blood circulation. Those who have BMI more than 30, often lack of vitamin D in those people
  2. If your kidneys do not work properly and not converting Vitamin D in active form. Therefore, risk of Vitamin D deficiency increases.
  3. If you are older and above 50. In this age ability to produce vitamin D in body is less.
  4. If your digestive tract does not absorb vitamin D properly, then deficiency of vitamin D can formed.
  5. Chronic Kidney Disease and Tuberculosis (TB) can be cause of Vitamin D deficiency. 

How Vitamin D deficiency can Treat ?
  1. Spend time in sunlight when ultraviolet-B rays come, these rays produce Vitamin D and give to our skin. We can get naturally vitamin D through sunlight. People can stay at least 10-15 minutes under sunlight. They can take sun bath for more results.
Vitamin D foods 
You can eat some foods which are good source of Vitamin D like Fish, Fish liver Oil, Egg yolk and Vitamin D also found in some fortified dairy products and grain products. You can eat salmon, mushrooms to overcome deficiency of Vitamin D.
